Shotcrete pools since 1977
New pool construction in Fairfield County and Westchester
In ground shotcrete pools and spas, “from finely crafted luxury pools to family and budget friendly play pools,” built by our in-house staff out of Bridgeport.
What goes into the shell
Everything you will swim in sits on a shell, and the shell is where we spend the money you cannot see. Every All American pool is shotcrete: concrete applied under pressure over a steel frame we build ourselves. We run a higher PSI mix, 5000 to 6000, in every pool, because a Connecticut or Westchester winter works on a pool shell for months.
The frame is built from 1/2 inch rebar. The industry standard calls for 3/8 inch, and we went heavier for added stability and strength. That is a difference nobody photographs once the concrete is on, and it is the reason we can put a Lifetime Structural Warranty on the shell.
The equipment is ours too: owned by us, state of the art, energy efficient, and housed in our 25,000 square foot warehouse and office at 153 Dewey Street in Bridgeport.

The build, with one person in charge
From the first meeting you have a personal project manager. That person handles the design and planning, sits in on town, wetland, conservation and architectural review meetings, and acquires every permit. Permitting runs 2 to 8 weeks. One Google reviewer, Kirk Shultz, said we gave a timeline of each step so they knew what to expect and when, and that we did all the permits with the town.
Construction moves through seven phases: excavation, forming and steel, the concrete shell applied under pressure, tile, coping and terrace, the pool finish, start-up with an orientation from our service manager, and then service. Average construction is about 45 days. We keep a pre-construction meeting and a site stake-out ahead of the first dig so the layout is agreed on the ground, not just on paper.
The work does not end at hand-over. We maintain over 90% of the pools we build, which means the same company that poured your shell is the one answering when something needs a look in July.
What the warranty covers
The pool shell carries a Lifetime Structural Warranty. The pumps, heaters, chlorinators, filters and the rest of the equipment carry a 3 Year Parts and Labor Warranty. Those are the two promises, and they are the reason the shell numbers above matter.
The conditions of the guarantee and warranty are available before sale. Ask for them at your showroom visit, read them next to your design and budget, and then decide. We would rather you read them early than learn them late.
